I recently downloaded the audiobook version of Seth Godin’s Tribes. Part motivational-guide, part manifesto for the future of marketing, the audiobook is read by Godin and weighs in at nearly 4 hours. It’s a marathon sitting, but it’s totally worth it.In fact, I’ve listened to it twice already.
In Tribes, Godin unpacks the concepts of personal authority, the influence of followers and the genesis of popular movements and how these (and more) pertain to (social) marketing in the future. This is critical information.
This audiobook is probably the most convenient way to consume this information. If you’d like the free copy, check out audible.com or visit iTunes. Yes, I’m going to buy the book as soon as it’s available this side of the world but for now, you gotta go load this on your iPod. It’s worth the price of admission.
