Diesel XXX Party

How does a brand like Diesel spread the word that it’s turning 30 years old? By throwing a global XXX party for its consumers of course! On the 11th of October, 17 cities from Dubai to Paris, will host Diesel’s birthday – and will feature such acts as N.E.R.D and 2MANYDJS. 

And with XXX being 30 in Roman numerals, the best way to spread the idea could only be by employing a SFW XXX pr0n viral (below). It’s edgy. It’s clever. Best of all it’s engaging. You can bet people will be talking about the product and the events.

Will it compel people to buy Diesel products? Maybe. Maybe not. If nothing else, it’s a perfect example of how you reach out to your market and give them something they can enjoy for nothing…and get free PR out of it. I hope the folks at Microsoft are paying attention.
